Calculator Disclaimer
How to read the numbers produced by the evoltLEDS savings, ROI, and payback calculators.
This page applies to every calculator on this website. It is a plain-language boundary, not legal fine print.
Calculator outputs are planning estimates. Project commitments are made only in written proposals.
1. Estimates, not commitments
Calculator outputs are directional planning estimates. They are not guarantees of energy savings, dollar savings, payback period, or return on investment.
Actual results depend on site-specific conditions that no online calculator can observe: existing fixture condition, wiring and controls infrastructure, operating schedules, occupancy patterns, and utility tariff details.
2. Your inputs drive the output
Results are only as accurate as the information you enter. Default values for utility rates, operating hours, and fixture baselines are typical industry figures provided for convenience, not measurements of your facility.
If an input is a guess, treat the output as a guess too.
3. Built-in assumptions
Where a calculator offers simplified fields, it applies conservative default assumptions for maintenance savings, demand charges, and equipment life. These assumptions are documented in the methodology notes of each calculator where shown.
4. Incentive figures are indicative
Utility rebate and tax-incentive figures shown by calculators are planning references only. Actual incentive amounts depend on program rules, budgets, and eligibility in force at the time a project is scoped and applied for. Incentive programs change and can expire.
5. Not engineering, tax, or financial advice
Calculator output is not an engineering analysis, an energy audit, or tax advice. For a documented, site-specific assessment with measured baselines, request a commercial lighting assessment or contact evoltLEDS.
